Cyclone Amphan battered southern Bangladesh and eastern India on May 20, destroying homes and crops and impacting more than 14 million people. UNICEF is working with local governments and partners responding to immediate needs in both countries, providing technical support and assistance for emergency shelter, WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene), and livelihood needs.
