American Nurses Foundation's Nursing Research Grant Program provides an opportunity for nurse researchers to make extraordinary contributions to science, demonstrating the impact of nursing intervention on consumer health and strengthening nursing practice.
Since 1955, the program has supported nurses by granting over $5 million for research. In this time, more than 1,200 exceptional beginning and experienced nurse researchers have used their unique insight to investigate important issues of practice of care and the profession that have had a direct impact on the health of the nation.
