Through its volunteers, donors, and partners, the American Red Cross of Vermont is always there in times of need, turning compassion into action so that all people affected by disaster receive care, shelter, and hope; our communities are prepared for disasters; everyone has access to safe, lifesaving blood and blood products; all armed services members and their families find support and comfort when needed; and there are always trained individuals nearby, ready to use their Red Cross skills to save lives.
For more than 70 years, the American Red Cross has delivered on our mission, fulfilling the American people’s need for the safest, most reliable, and cost-effective blood services through voluntary donations. Continuing this long and successful legacy, the Red Cross provides 90% of blood supplied to the more than 15 hospitals in the state of Vermont.
