2024 Hurricane Helene Relief

op TEAM RUBICON

Hurricane Helene made landfall as a devastating Category 4 hurricane on the night of 26 September near Perry, FL, in the state's Big Bend region. It continues to bring flooding rain, damaging winds, and a threat of tornadoes as it moves inland over Georgia and other states in the South. Coastal communities also faced a deadly storm surge as Helene moved to shore.

Currently, a route clearance team is deploying from Mobile, AL, to Florida, with another team preparing to deploy in Georgia. Three reconnaissance teams, and more if needed, will deploy after landfall to assess the needs of communities impacted by Hurricane Helene. We are going to respond and help these communities recover.

Team Rubicon helped these communities recover after Hurricane Ian in 2022, Idalia last year, and Debby earlier this year—we're positioned to do it again. Year after year, we respond when disaster strikes and stay around to ensure recovery for these communities.

Right now, your support is crucial. Your donation helps ensure local Greyshirt volunteers can quickly serve their communities at a moment's notice.

Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises.
