Loneliness can affect anyone, from any background, at any stage of life. We gift media technology (such as radios, televisions, and tablet computers) to vulnerable people across the UK who are made lonely by circumstances beyond their control.

Such simple technology can have an enormous impact . It opens a window to the world, provides comfort and companionship through difficult circumstances, and allows people to build relationships with those around them. Every day we receive letters from beneficiaries telling us the impact of their new technology, and research by the University of York confirms the benefits of our work in alleviating loneliness.
