Support UNICEF: Help the Children affected by the Earthquakes in Mexico

by UNICEF USA

Over 2.1 million children live in the 166 municipalities that have been declared under a state of emergency by the Mexican Government following the 8.2 magnitude earthquake that struck on Sept 7. On Sept 19, another strong 7.1 earthquake struck in Central Mexico about 100 miles from Mexico City affecting the lives of over 5 million children across Mexico City, Morelos and Puebla. Getting lives back to normal and children back in school are priorities for the Government and UNICEF. UNICEF is ready to support their efforts through WASH, Child Protection, Education and Nutrition including its School in a Box program, which provides education in emergency situations. Additionally, UNICEF will provide children with psycho-social support to help them cope with the impact of the disaster. With your support, you are helping UNICEF provide relief efforts to those affected by these earthquakes. Most importantly, you are putting children first.
