Vinnies Vans is a mobile outreach service delivering practical support and human connection to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness across New South Wales.
Every week, our Vinnies Vans visit 106 stops in communities across NSW providing meals, snacks, blankets, toiletries, hot beverages, connection, a listening ear, and referrals to additional support services to people experiencing hardship.
With the rising cost of living, demand for our services continues to grow. Many of the people we support are facing food insecurity, housing instability, and social isolation. For some, the Vinnies Van is the only consistent support they receive each week. With demand higher than ever, our shelves are emptying faster than we can restock.
In the last year, our vans have supported over 115,000 people, providing 230,000 meals across the state.
