Accion Opportunity Fund is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization supporting diverse, resilient entrepreneurs. We create economic opportunity by supporting small business owners, 90% of whom are people of color or women, with the capital, networks and resources they need to grow financially healthy enterprises and contribute to thriving local economies. Working with mission-based lenders and community organizations around the country, we develop the products, services, advocacy, and partnerships that create a more equitable financial system investing in overlooked, underfunded communities. Annually, we reach nearly 400,000 individuals through online educational resources to help them tackle the challenges they face in starting, pivoting, and growing their businesses.

Your support helps us reach determined entrepreneurs across the United States, especially women, people of color, and immigrants. With access to financing and support services, small business owners create and grow healthy businesses to achieve their goals -- starting a journey into business ownership, pivoting a business, or tackling growth opportunities in these unprecedented times. Ninety percent of our clients are people of color; over a third are women; most are immigrants or the children of immigrants.
